We chose to have an outdoor wedding and one of the downsides of that is the possibility of rain and unfortunately it started storming about 10 minutes before our private ceremony. Shelby was calm cool and collected, after keeping an eye on the radar she suggested pushing it back 30 minutes and right on queue it stopped raining and everything worked out perfectly. She even saved some of the rain water for us in a bottle to save as a memory.

I am a firm believer that a day-of coordinator is absolutely worth it- even if the venue comes with an on-site coordinator (which ours did and she was lovely too!) but I'd hire Shelby again a thousand times over. Don't ask your friends or family to handle those day-of logistics and do yourself a favor and do not do it yourself!
